LineageOS 13 for MT6580 is an aftermarket ROM based on Android Marshmallow
ROM is stable . It can be used as a daily driver without any issuse
I believe we all know about CM 13 for MT6580 and I don't need to tell you about it
( This ROM is compiled from sourceby Vgdn1942&Ibrahim1973)
Note : This ROM can be ported to any MT6580 device running
Android Lollipop 5.1.x with kernel 3.10.x

Install Guide:
- Boot to your recovery
- Wipe data
- Click advanced wipe and check _ Dalvik/ART- Cache - System - Data ->wipe
- Go back and install the ROM
- Go back and install the Patch
- Optionally install Gapps
- Reboot & enjoy

LineageOS 13.0 (3.10.72) porting guide (by kva3ar from 4PDA + some notes):
Delete1. Open port updater-script with Notepad++ and remove first two lines.
2. Unpack stock and port boot images with AndImgTool. Replace port/kernel folder with stock one then rebuild port image (drag port folder onto AndImgTool executable)
3. Replace the following files with stock:
system/lib/hw
audio.primary.mt6580.so
camera.mt6580.so
gps.default.so
gralloc.mt6580.so
hwcomposer.mt6580.so
memtrack.mt6580.so
sensors.mt6580.so

4. Edit build.prop
Change ro.sf.lcd_density value with yours and set qemu.hw.mainkeys to 1
5. Remove /usr/keylayout/mtk-tpd.kl
6. Make ZIP archive and sign it
7. Install TWRP (3.1.x is preferred), wipe data, cache and dalvik cache.
8. Flash the ROM.

It would be very helpful to have some more information about "this ROM can be ported" .. how EXACTLY can this be done? What does the following comment mean: (be careful, may cause bootloop) Is it really necessary to delete some lines in the updater script?

just port kernel from boot.img

hi, i've ported this rom on a mt6580 device and it works good, but i am not able to get ril antenna working, always no service or sometimes just some gsm signal, what could be the fix? I've tried to change modem file, only gsm-edge but same results no 3g-4g . With stock rom antenna works perfectly, but if i try to port ril on lineage, it doesn't detect sims, what could be the fix for this?
